Associations and foundations, in France or abroad, can open a Spiko account to optimize their cash management. Account creation follows the standard process for organizations.
Processing time: requests are generally processed within 24 hours of submitting a complete file.
Account creation steps
1. Security setup
Email address verification, password selection, and activation of two-factor authentication (2FA), which is required for sensitive operations (withdrawals, changes to bank details).
2. Questionnaire
Regulations require us to ask you a few questions to complete your file.
3. Required documents
These five documents identify the association or foundation, its current leadership, and its financial situation.
- The extract from the French Official Journal (Journal officiel) publishing the creation of the association and any later changes (JOAFE). For a foundation recognized as being of public utility, provide the recognition decree published in the Journal officiel. For a foreign association or foundation, provide the equivalent registration document from its country.
- The latest version of the statutes.
- The minutes of the last board election, meaning the minutes of the general meeting or board meeting that elected the current board.
- The ID of each legal representative designated in the statutes, in the form of a valid passport or national ID card (front and back).
- The latest annual accounts.
The beneficial owners of an association or foundation are its legal representatives, as designated in its statutes.
4. Identity verification and biometrics
The legal representative will need to scan their official ID (passport or national ID card) and complete a biometric verification.
