The Spiko platform allows corporate clients to turn on four-eyes mode. This feature can only be activated if there are at least two Admin users on the account.
Turning on four-eyes mode
An Admin user can turn on four-eyes mode themselves, from the web app or from the mobile app.
- In the web app, click Settings.
- In the Users section, switch on Four-eyes mode, then click Turn on to confirm.
In the mobile app, open the Profile tab, tap Four-Eyes Mode, then tap Activate Four-Eyes Mode.
Actions subject to dual control
Once on, four-eyes mode requires that the following sensitive actions be initiated by one user and approved by another:
- Initiating withdrawals (to registered bank accounts)
- Creating or changing a recurring withdrawal
- Adding a new bank account
- Adding a new user
Who can approve a request
Admin users can approve every request. Manager users can approve withdrawals, as well as the creation and changes of recurring withdrawals.
Enhanced security
For security reasons, four-eyes mode also disables the ability to initiate a withdrawal order via API.
Only users with appropriate permissions can initiate these actions. Roles and access rights are described on the Multi-user access page.
