Standard Mode
By default, all clients use Standard Mode. It provides full access to all Spiko features, with fund tokens safely held and managed on the platform.
Standard Mode also lets you deposit and withdraw stablecoins (USDC and EURC) on Spiko US Dollar Treasury Bills.
Expert Mode
For clients proficient in blockchain technology, Expert Mode unlocks additional features:
- Deposit and withdraw stablecoins on other Spiko products that support it, such as EURC on Spiko Euro Treasury Bills
- Transfer Spiko fund tokens to an external wallet for self-custody
- Choose the blockchain network on which your tokens are issued
To turn on Expert Mode in the web app, open Settings, go to the Preferences section and choose Expert under Usage mode. In the mobile app, open the Settings tab, then Preferences, and select Expert Mode.
⚠️ Security warning
Expert Mode is intended for users with thorough knowledge of:
- Digital wallet management
- Cryptographic key handling
- Blockchain security
If you are not fully comfortable with these technologies, we strongly recommend staying in Standard Mode.
