In Expert Mode, you can withdraw your Spiko fund tokens from the platform to an external self-custody wallet. Spiko funds were the first regulated funds in the world to offer this feature.
Prerequisites
- Have activated Expert Mode
- Have added the destination wallet in Settings, Wallets section (Bank accounts & wallets tab if your Settings page shows tabs), and signed a message to prove that the wallet belongs to you. This wallet must be on the same network as your Spiko account.
Make the withdrawal
Withdrawals to your wallet are made from the web app.
- Click Withdraw from the relevant product.
- At the Withdrawal method step, choose Fund shares transfer.
- Enter the amount you want to withdraw.
- Choose your Destination Wallet.
- Check the summary, click Confirm Withdrawal, then confirm your identity.
Authorized addresses (allowlist)
Spiko fund tokens can only be held in authorized (allowlisted) addresses.
Once you have withdrawn your fund tokens to your wallet, they are freely transferable between authorized addresses, like any other fungible token. Transfers are possible 24/7, 365 days a year.
⚠️ Important warning
- Transfers require your wallet signature and are legally binding.
- When you sign a transfer with your private key to transfer tokens to another person's wallet, you permanently transfer ownership of those tokens.
- In accordance with regulations, we retain administration rights over the tokens, ensuring that your tokens cannot be lost or stolen even in the event of a technical issue.
